Remembrance 100

On 4th August 1918 King George V led a National Day of Prayer; 100 days later the Great War ended. This year join 100 days of prayer for peace from 4th August to 11th November. For more details visit www.remembrance100.co.uk.

Support Olive at the annual HOBC Charity Fair

The annual Honor Oak Baptist Church Charity Fair will be taking place on Saturday 17 November from 11am - 2pm. Olive Emptage will be selling items she's knitted herself in aid of Chance for Childhood. Please come along and support her.

Quarterly Church Prayer Meeting

Please do make a special effort to come and pray on Saturday 24th November, 10-11.30am. We will be seeking God together regarding his plans for the growth of the church here, and praying especially for the forthcoming Christmas nativity outreach.

Church Anniversary Bring & Share Meal and Quiz

In two weekends' time, we will be celebrating the 110th Anniversary of Crofton Park Baptist Church. There will be a bring and share meal on Saturday 17th November at 5pm, which will include a quiz.
There will be a list in the foyer so please put your name down against what you will be bringing to share.

Pastoral Team Meeting

Members of the church pastoral team are reminded that our next meeting is on Monday 12th November at 11.15am in the church lounge.

Regional Minister Induction

The London Baptist Association has appointed four new Regional Ministers to work alongside Rev Phil Barnard as Team Leader. One of these is Crofton Park's former Minister, Rev Carol Bostridge. There is an Induction Service for the new team members on Saturday 10th November at 3pm at the Salvation Army's Regent Hall, Oxford Street, London.

Standing in the gap

Pray for our youth and for the families of the two teenagers stabbed to death in London this past week. 
Pray for Christians in Egypt persecuted for their faith. Pray for God's protection over them.

Pray for our local community and for the work of local charities like LEWCAS, Street Pastors and the Lewisham food bank.
