Invitation to Worship

Has anyone ever asked you if you were “saved” before? How did you respond? For some, it is a simple question; for others, it is off-putting at best. What does it mean anyway, and what happens if you don’t always feel “saved?” I believe this is one of the most important things we can come to understand as our faith grows and matures. Whatever you understand about salvation, and whether you feel saved or not, I hope you’ll join us tomorrow at 5 p.m. for worship.

Grace and Peace,
Pastor Jasper

P.S. If you’re ready to learn more about Belong, or make a commitment to be a part of this community, I hope you’ll join me for Belong 101, tomorrow at 4 p.m. on the lower level of the church.

Belong 101

Sunday, November 4, 4 p.m. at Belong

Are you ready to move from “guest” to “host”? Partners commit to offer their prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness to God’s Kingdom through Belong Church.

Our Partners are people who have made a commitment to be a part of the life of Belong by blessing others and inviting them to beloved community. Partners will be received into community at worship service on Sunday, November 11.

Social Justice Snapshot Poll

Social Justice is at the foundation of our congregation. As a valued member of our community, we want to know where your heart lies on the many aspects of justice that are so profoundly needed in our time. We want our justice ministry to reflect your passion and calling. If you haven’t yet filled out the social justice poll to let us know what you are interested in pursuing, please take a moment to do so today. The poll ends on Wednesday, November 7, and we appreciate your participation!

Wednesday Night at Belong

Wednesdays, 6–9 p.m.

Putting a fresh take on the traditional Wednesday night church meeting, Wednesday Night at Belong is a weekly gathering inspired by the word “liturgy,” which literally means “the work of the people.” If you’re looking for deeper connection, spiritual refreshment, and opportunities for service through action, you’ll be right at home. During the night, we make lunches for our friends without homes, come together and hear from each other, pray together, sing together, and work on service projects in and around the church. The band rehearses for the following Sunday and anyone who is interested in worship arts is encouraged to meet, play, sing, create, and brainstorm more creative ways of serving our church body through the arts.

Snacks and beverages will be provided (potluck is invited!), and while we will not have formal childcare, your kids are more than welcome to join in.
