5th Grade Ambassador's Halloween Candy Collection
The 5th Grade Ambassadors will be outside Ben Franklin before school collecting excess Halloween candy for the troops the week of November 5-9th.
All candy will be delivered to Eagle Falls Dentistry in Bloomingdale where it will be donated to the USO of Illinois. Any questions, please contact Katie Prescott.

Book Fair this Week!
Support literacy and our school at the Ben Franklin Book Fair! All of the proceeds go to our library and the PTA. Stop by and check out the selection!
Monday, November 5 - 3:30 - 8pm
Tuesday, November 6 - 3:30 - 6:30pm
Wednesday, November 7 - 3:30 - 8pm

Yearbook Orders!
Order your 2018/2019 Yearbook today! Ordering is simple and can be done online.
To order, follow these easy steps:
1. Go to Jostens website at www.jostens.com
2. Click on "Find Your School"
3. Type "Benjamin Franklin Elementary School PTA" into the "School or Group Name"
The price is $20 through December 21st. After that date, it increases to $23. The final order deadline is May 17th.

Lost and Found
We already have a collection of Lost and Found items needing to be claimed! All items are on display this week so please check the tables in the downstairs hallway when you visit school for Book Fair and Teacher Conferences. Pictures are also posted on the Ben Franklin Facebook page!

2019 PTA Fundraiser Planning Meeting
Book your babysitters for February 8th, 2019 and get ready for a night of trivia fun! We are excited to raise money to install a Gagaball Pit on the Ben Franklin Playground.

SSPAC Coffee Connections: Please join us for coffee and conversation on Wednesday, November 7th from 9:15 - 10:15 am at the Glen Ellyn Public Library, Meeting Room A. SSPAC supports awareness, education, advocacy and acceptance of different learners in D41. We hope to see you there!

Veteran's Day Assembly
The Veteran's Day Assembly hosted by the Ben Franklin 5th Grade Ambassadors is coming up this Friday, November 9th. All students are encouraged to invite a relative or friend who has served in the United States Military. Invitations to the event from our ambassadors can be printed here.
