A six-minute video covering a few of the main events in my life at the moment.

Please pray for Mustafa's court case on Nov. 7th

This is a rather different update than usual, with basically just one topic, since this is something that is very much on my heart and mind at the moment.  The above video should fill you in; I will do my best to send out a follow-up after the court case takes place this Wednesday for Mustafa (previously referred to in my updates at "Martin," which is the nickname he gave himself here in Austria). Please pray for that the judge will have an understanding attitude, and listen with open ears. Pray too that his brother will find healing from his trauma, induced upon him by militants in Iraq.
In other news, I am still in touch with Jolly, for whom I requested prayer over the summer. After being homeless in Italy for over two months, Italy rejected his plea and so Jolly is now seeking asylum in France. Thankfully, a kind man from Calvary Chapel Nice provided him with a room for a while. Jolly has since been transferred to a different city, but he was somehow able to find housing there too. His interview for asylum is coming up this Tuesday, Nov. 6th, please pray for the Lord's will to be done in his life. He and I are still in touch via WhatsApp phone calls on occasion.
I mentioned this Go Fund Me page for Mustafa towards the end of my video... should you be interested to check it out, here it is: https://www.gofundme.com/for-my-good-friend-mustafa&rcid=r01-154136844575-a57a7bd246af4b38&pc=ot_co_campmgmt_w

In closing, I encourage you to truly take time to pray and thereby find peace in the Lord during these turbulent times in which we live. With all of the troubling things going on in Yemen, North Korea, Syria, Iraq, Venezuela, and of course the many political debates swirling around all of you in the US, it is easy to be unsettled, but let it not be so! "Let not your heart be troubled," Jesus said to His disciples in John 14:1, and while they surely were troubled during His trial and crucifixion, the resurrection and promise of His return one day brought them joy and peace. And they set about telling others about Him and sharing His Truth. So while the times we live in are turbulent, I hope that as followers of Jesus, we exude peace to those around us. The events around the world are intense for the here-and-now, but following Jesus and shining His light is of eternal value. So let us focus on these things of eternal value.          from Vienna, Ken and Michi Meyer
