Hi there,

Hope some of you are already testing Stackby. Thanks for your valuable feedback, and making sure that what we are building provides value to you. We have lately been following Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD) framework that focuses on outcomes rather than features, to make sure customer remains at the center of our product. If you have not already signed up to use Stackby, please do so here.

Here's what we are reading this week -

# What's awesome in Technology?

1. AI to measure religious conflict.
Why humans fight over religion, what conditions happen before it turns to clashes and what escalates to violence? Justine Lane from Oxford university in UK, led a team to answer these questions. They combined computer modeling and cognitive psychology to create an AI system to mimic human religiosity. They used two real-life examples - 30 year conflict in North Ireland and 3 day Gujarat riots of 2002 in India. What revealed is that only when core beliefs of humans are challenged, it leads to agitations. Check out the story here.

2. AI to detect Alzheimer's disease, faster than previously thought. University of California, Berkeley researchers conducted a study to train 2100 brain images called FDGs (Radioactive glucose compound, that helps doctors detect areas of the brain with reduced metabolic activity) of people who've been diagnosed with Alzheimers. It just diagnosed the early symptoms (6 years before) with 100% accuracy on a small sample size, however it is a strong proof of concept on what is possible in the future. Check out the story here.

# Tech startups roundup

What we're building

For years we have been ping-ponging between disconnected tools - Spreadsheets, Emails, CRMs, Task managers, 1000s of vertical softwares.. and many others. We believe it's time to change that!

We built a product called Stackby that aims to solve that problem, by creating a multi-purpose collaboration platform that is flexible as a spreadsheet but powerful as a database. You and your team can build your own real-time app in 2 minutes across hundreds of use-cases from CRM to Project management to Product Planning to Deal-flow management, all from a single, easy to use & cost effective platform. No setup, training or lengthy deployment required.

Our vision is to give non-technical end user power to build their own applications by using just their spreadsheet skills.
