DAR YOUTH POETRY DAY "Paza Sauti"

For the second time, Nafasi Art Space will host a renowned Annual Dar Youth Poetry Day, to celebrate the talents and voices of young people.
Paza Sauti is a very significant event which gives room young people to showcase and celebrate their voices through writing, performance and poetry. This time "Paza Sauti" will be held on 10th November (Saturday), with a morning session from 10 am to 1 pm for the workshop briefing on the spoken poem and later from 2 pm to 4 pm performances from the talented artists.
Featured artists will include Carol Anande, Lydia Kasese and many more. Don't miss out. Join us and help to rise all our voices.

Mac Sawaya Exhibition
On Saturday 2nd November '18 our artist in Residence for August, Mac Sawaya, finally opened his Rebirth exhibition.

Sawaya works primarily in oils, a key characteristic of his work is the integration of color, space and forms to convey a strong sense of motion and feelings. In his exhibition ( a courtesy of every residency artist) Mac Sawaya demonstrated his artistic eye through his works which attracted many people who joined us for the evening. The were nineteen paintings in total many of which were very different in style but retained Mac's unique mix of humor and unaffected honesty.
The exhibition is on until 1st December. Don't miss a chance to see a master at work.

Exhibition of Portraits ( PichaTime) by Nicholas.
On 3rd November '18 Nicolas, a photographer held a Portraits session "PichaTime" and students from his former workshop held a session to different people where he exhibits his work and guests got a shot of their own unique portraits for free.
