We are almost at the close of 2018, the holidays are quickly approaching. We are living a hurried life, full of turmoil, disappointments and regrets. Always searching for the external material components that we think will bring us to a calming peace, when all we really need is to realize that a simple expression of appreciation can help us make sense of our total existence right here right now.

Thanksgiving is the perfect time to be mindful of the gratitude we have for our love ones, our beautiful friendships that we have made, the roof over our heads and a clean bed to sleep in at night.  

Gratitude is not easy. It's something we need to work at everyday.  Like an exercise that is well worth the pain as well as the challenge.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and to whoever you spend your time with.
