Fall Squash Tourney Wrap-up
On November 2-4, we hosted the 2018 Fall Squash Open at No Limits Fitness. It was a great weekend of squash. Many thanks to all who played, to all the friends and families who came to watch, to everyone who helped in so many ways, and to all of our supporters and sponsors!
Some photos are posted, along with names of sponsors, on our web site here:

Kamloops Women’s Squash Weekend
February 1-3 2019
The KSA is hosting a women's weekend tourney on the first weekend of February. All levels are welcome; there will be matches for everyone from novice to advanced players. This is a no-frills event with an emphasis on fun.
For more info, email the KSA at info@kamloopssquash.ca.
For the latest news on upcoming squash tournaments, check out the calendar at Squash BC's website: click here.
Squash Weekly League
The fall league is running on Wednesday and Thursday evenings until early December. If you would like to play, we often need subs on either night. Players are ranked, and play a match each week against players more or less at their own level. All levels welcome!
Email info@kamloopssquash.ca for more information.
Squash Box League
The box league is a good option for players who can't play regularly in the weekly league, and also for anyone who wants to get an extra game in here and there. Players are placed into groups (boxes) of 4-6 players. At the end of each session (usually monthly), the top 1-2 players move up, the bottom 1-2 move down, and the middle players remain in place.
You can check out the box league
here, and if you are interested in playing, send us an email at
info@kamloopssquash.ca.
TRU Squash
If you are a student interested in playing on the weekend, to have a lesson or just hit the ball around, email
info@kamloopssquash.ca or text 250-314-9600 and we'll set it up. Gear and coaching provided as needed by the KSA (at no cost).
Rides from campus to the courts are available. Drop-in fees for students are $5 on weekends.
There is a facebook group starting up again for students who want to connect for a game, check it out here:
TRU Squash Club.
Free Online Ref Course!
In conjunction with Squash BC, the KSA is offering
Squash Canada's Club Referee Certification Course to local players. This course normally costs $29.99; thanks to funding from the Kamloops Blazers Sports Society (from a grant in 2015), we are able to offer this course for free.
This online course features high definition videos with slow-motion technology, plus downloadable course materials and links to additional officiating resources. Successful completion of the course will certify you as a Club Referee (the first level of certification in the Squash Canada referee system).
If you are interested in taking the course, email us at
info@kamloopssquash.ca and we will provide the link and the code to access the course.
Junior Squash Sessions
Junior squash sessions may start soon once again on weekends, depending on interest. Equipment can be provided for any participant as needed. Ages 7 and up.
Email us for more information or to sign up: info@kamloopssquash.ca.
