Dear members of the KAFSC community,
It is with deep gratitude and appreciation for her leadership that we bid farewell to Bomsinae Kim, Executive Director of KAFSC, after three years of her service. Through her boundless dedication to serving victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault within the immigrant community, Bomsinae touched the lives of so many women in need. At the Center, her service and leadership was instrumental in creating a community of volunteers and staff that is the KAFSC family. We'd like to take a moment to recognize Bomsinae's diligence and unyielding commitment to KAFSC, which shaped our organization into one that is recognized in the Korean-American community and beyond.

During Bomsinae's tenure, KAFSC made incredible strides; increasing its budget to over $3 million, opening the Manhattan satellite office, and securing funding for an office in New Jersey. Bomsinae took fund-raising to new heights by securing funding towards the Rainbow House Shelter Capital Project and operating funds. Her fundraising opened up new horizons in the Center's programs.
The Center is deeply grateful to Bomsinae for laying the foundation for a stronger KAFSC by strengthening and streamlining the organization's mission-aligned programs and infrastructure.

Most notably, Bomsinae successfully raised the profile of the Center through her unrelenting community outreach beyond the comfort zone of the Korean-American community or other agencies that share our mission. Bomsinae was not only a spokesperson and ambassador for KAFSC's mission of helping victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, but also acted as an unwavering voice in protecting the rights of women, children, and the underprivileged within the Korean-American community.
We want to thank Bomsinae again for her dedication to KAFSC and her incredible work in uplifting the Korean community. Your commitment to ensuring that the voices of victims and survivors are heard has set a precedent within our organization and at large.
