NOVEMBER NEWS

This month regeneration of Temple Quarter has taken another step forward with a Cabinet decision to progress Temple Square projects. Bristol's creative, digital and media sectors had cause to celebrate at the end of October with Channel 4's announcement Bristol will be home to one of its new Creative Hubs.

The new traffic diversions are in operation at Temple Gate allowing work to push forward on the pedestrian crossing and installation of the District Heat Main. Network Rail improvement works at Filton Bank continue until 19 November with buses replacing trains on key routes in the Bristol area. 

Cabinet decision advances regeneration of Temple Quarter

Plans for the redevelopment of a prominent area in Temple Quarter took a step forward this week with the Cabinet decision to approve the Joint Development and Land Agreement for Engine Shed 2, Temple Square and Station Approach.

Channel 4 announces Bristol as home to new Creative Hub

On 31 October, Channel 4 confirmed Bristol will be host to one of its new Creative Hubs, along with Glasgow, while their headquarters will relocate to Leeds. Mayor Marvin Rees said "This move will help to build on our existing thriving media industry and wealth of local talent. We look forward to welcoming Channel 4 to the city.”
