The Halton Equity and Diversity Roundtable (HEDR) is excited to announce their new Coordinator, Samina Zubairi:

                                            

Samina has over 7 years of experience working in the social services sector providing diverse and inclusive programming and services to a wide range of community stakeholders. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology and is a certified Child and Youth Worker. She has worked in diverse environments such as Shelters, Settlement organizations, schools and Youth services. Samina  has a passion for equity and inclusion to ensure that every individual is given an opportunity to achieve their full potential.

Samina is replacing Ameena Amin, who has recently resigned from her postion, effective November 16, 2018. She is currently working part-time for the next few weeks with Ameena and will start full-time as Coordinator on November 19, 2018.  

She looks forward to meeting and working with various community members and partners in the coming months.
