Hello Galway and West of Ireland Startups!
Welcome again to Startup Digest Galway - the startup news and events calendar for Galway.
Lots of events coming up in Galway this month to include Galway Chamber's free event 'New Frontiers in Space' on November 13th with Shane Kimbrough, NASA astronaut and former Commander of the International Space Station.
This week's featured startup is Galway based Prepare Me who recently won a Social Entrepreneurs Ireland award for their 'Prepare Me kits' which use the art of storytelling and real-life imagery to prepare children and adults with additional needs for new experiences across a variety of everyday settings to include medical visits (but not going to space?).
BTW, Social Innovation Fund is calling for applications until 18th January 2019. Have you a project that uses sports, arts or culture as a means to achieve social impact? Or a project that focuses on improving outcomes for children?
Please contact the Startup Digest Galway Team by email to be included as the Featured Startup in future issues of this digest. We are delighted to create awareness of events so please submit your event here for consideration for the next issue of this digest.
Best wishes Donncha, Katleen & Dominic
