I really don't like starting off serious. But with record breaking fires burning around us all year, the Greater LA area is experiencing consistently dangerous air quality levels.

How are you staying healthy?


Especially during this dry season of "Metal", or Lungs in Chinese Medicine, when allergy symptoms surge and the immune system takes a natural dip -- it's important to protect the lungs. 5 Tips For Lung Health

1. Air: Get an Air Purifier for your home and office - HERE
2. Nutrition: Eat plenty of Asian Pears - they nourish the lungs and keep them moist. Garlic fights infection and help detox the lungs. Ginger is anti-inflammatory and helps clear the lungs naturally.
3. Travel: Get out of town, especially if you are in a really smoky area.
4. Exercise: Avoid jogging in heavily polluted areas or near busy roads. Wait for a clear day, get closer to the beach, or exercise indoors (for the time being) where the air is filtered.
