We need your help!
My life is full of cricket having two kids involved in the sport, coaching the 13 & unders for WPCC/Carnegie, running this comp wtih Sven and ISEC, working with Cricket Southern Bayside and CV on female rep teams and more. I am sure you are all in the same situation as I am and things can fall between the cracks.

This is your reminder to get onto those things that are just as critical to the sport but may pull you away from onfield fun.

We need your help to keep this competition being the best that it can be.
MyCricket
It has come to our attention that some clubs are not entering their player scores and specific results in MyCricket.

PLEASE make sure you enter all the details as the competition gives out awards at the end of the season to the best players in each grade. We cannot do this if we do not have the data!  I am sure you wouldn't want your players missing out on recognition.

Further down the line, the MyCricket stats will be considered when Cricket Victoria are looking to evaluate players for representative teams as well.

And I dont know about you, but my players are pretty keen to look at their individual results for their own information.

We might have to follow you up individually if this continues. Thanks for your help.
We have been made aware through complaints from clubs that some teams are not following the AGCC rules.

The reason we ask that you do not make your own game day modifications is so there is consistency and we don't have the possibility of disputes in front of the players when coaches/parents disagree.

Please be aware that the AGCC is following the Cricket Australia Junior Formats with only a couple of very small modifications.

We laminated the rules and included them with your scorebook so please make sure you are following them! You can also find them on the AGCC website.

If we receive a complaint, we will ring you in the first instance to have a conversation regarding the rules. Second offence receives a written email and third offence will result in no points allocated for that round.

You all know Sven and I, so you know that this is not something we would want to have to do. Can we all play in the spirit of the game and follow the rules consistently to make it easier on us all?

If you need clarification on the rules at anytime, on Wednesday nights please call Sven and on Sunday mornings please call Ros.
We need pictures! REALLY - We need lots of pictures!
If you have some great photos of your teams or players AND the parent/guardians/players are happy for them to be shared, please text them to allgirlscricket@gmail.com and we will get them into our Instagram feed.

You can also text them to me, Ros, on 0411047206 and I will get them to our social media guru.

We are keen to get head shots of some players with their names and a caption about why they love cricket.

VMCU - Julie Savage Shield
Congratulations to those AGCC players who have been selected to play in the U14 Julie Savage Shield as part of the VMCU competition in January representing either ISEC or SECA.

Final lists of players will be on our website within the week and coaches will be in touch with players regarding the fixture.

Sven and I will keep in touch with this process if anyone has questions. You can email allgirlscricket@gmail.com.

With the WBBL about to get underway and Cricket Australia's #WatchMe campaign, not to mention the recent success of the Australian Women's Cricket team, it seems that more girls are wanting to play cricket. Happy Days!

To help you find somewhere for these players as your teams are likely to be already full, we will be running a four-week competition in February in conjunction with CSB and Cricket Victoria.

Details will be coming soon. The plan is to run Master Blaster, Stage 1 and Stage 2 competitions in a central location on a Wednesday night.

If clubs would like to register early interest in this 'split season' style competition, please email us at allgirlscricket@gmail.com.

If you have any questions about the All Girls Cricket Competition please send an email to allgirlscricket@gmail.com and we will respond within the same day. If things are urgent, feel free to call myself, Ros Batson on 0411047206, or Sven Samild on 0408398722.

We are happy to chat!

If there is someone else better placed to receive emails from us, please pass on their details.

We appreciate your support of the All Girls Cricket Competition.

Kind regards,

Ros Batson
