A treasured Japanese concept, Mottainai is a word meaning
'what a waste' or 'don't waste'.
Japan House will be transformed into a festive marketplace filled with items from around the world, as well as handcrafted and imported items.
ANNUAL BAZAAR
Saturday, Dec. 8th, 11am to 5pm &
Sunday, Dec. 9th, 11am to 4pm.
Focusing on the "4 R's", reduce, reuse, recycle and respect, we have gathered unique items and accessories from all our friends around the world and will be offering them for sale to you in order to give them new life. In addition to those treasures, and a few items imported from Japan, the Japan House Interns have been working hard to create handmade crafts for sale.
The Bazaar is packed with an incredible array of reasonably-priced items, such as Asian pottery, kimono and yukata, origami crafts, handmade items, traditional American quilts, scarves, posters, scrolls, books, prints, tea and chado equipment, jewelry, gift certificates, and more!
THE BAZAAR IS FREE AND OPEN TO ALL. Stop by as many times as you wish! This is a family friendly event, and there is definitely something for everyone.
Cash, check, and all major credit cards are accepted.
Proceeds from the Bazaar go to support the Japan House Internship Program.
