Dear Colleague,

Rather than send you a “helping yourself through the holidays email,” which I personally delete upon sight, I decided to send a picture of my first therapy dog, Boo. Many of you may have met her, as she worked with me in school settings, privately, and was a fixture for 12 of her 14 years in my practice.

In her later life she was a cancer survivor, amputee, and an inspiration to patients and colleagues. I still miss her quiet dignified presence in my office. Next email I’ll send you a picture of the new recruit, but this one seems appropriate for this time of year, when reflecting on the past and lost mingle with festivity. But we won’t go there, because this is NOT a HYTTH email. 😊

Rather, I want to say thanks for your support as I transitioned this year into an online practice, and grew my supervision and public speaking work. I also wanted to ask you to keep me in mind for your education and consultation needs. You can get a sample of some of my presentations here.

In addition to offering workshops for professional development, I have developed the following workshops for a variety of groups including “Boundaries and Health in the Digital Age,” “Better Living Through Minecraft,” Leverage Tech for Mental Health,” “Newly Wired: Your Kids and Technology,” and “Fun Failure: Technology Wisdom for Executives.” You can see detailed descriptions here. This time of year is a great time to start planning for next year’s HR inservices, school assemblies, or professional conferences, so please keep me in mind.

That’s it for now, take good care,
