Tom with Clark Racca, Hospice Chaplain, former pastor & now elder of Grace Christian Fellowship--our first supporting church, and now a treasured friend.

Read his testimonial below:

My wife and I just had the pleasure of hosting our missionary friends, Tom and Amy Morrow for a week in Odessa, Texas, and I just want to share some of my thoughts about these faithful servants of Christ.
You see, I pastored the church [Grace Christian Fellowship] from which Tom and Amy felt called, and responded, some 20 years ago. Our friendship has grown over the years, and now they seem more like family than anything else. But I’ve always been impressed with how they have handled the rigors of mission work, and its harsh demands on a family. It is a testimony to their ability to balance these demands that their own six children honor them, and have never seemed to resent being raised on the mission field, or having to share their parents with orphans. Their children have been well educated, and prepared to be successful in life.
Besides this, Tom and Amy have poured ample knowledge, and experience into each individual and team of short term or long term volunteers, not to mention their paid staff. They are model missionaries in their attention to training, accountability and communication with supporters.
Back in 2010 I was able to take a group of members from Grace on a mission trip to the Kazembe Orphanage. It was a wonderful time, and we were able to accomplish some important tasks at the orphanage, including building a perimeter fence and rewiring the main electrical box. We also helped do two VBS’s, one for the Orphans, and another for the town kids. Tom and Amy oversaw all of these projects, and provided a wonderful experience for our team, as well. They have given their lives to this ministry, and have sacrificed much, but they have remained committed to God’s calling in the face of great adversity, and countless losses.
Though they have been lifelong missionaries, and have been 15 years on the field in Kazembe, they have remained humble, and teachable, through it all. The fact that they are always open to new ideas, and remain innovative in their approach to mission work is precisely why they have seen such success. I thank God for Tom and Amy Morrow, and hope and pray that my own children, and grandchildren, someday get the opportunity to serve with them in a short-term mission experience. I know that any who get this opportunity will blessed. Thank the Lord for my friends, Tom and Amy Morrow, and Terra Nova Children's Home.
