We carry their messages forward, adding their voices to the tapestry of international dance and assisting them in finding opportunities. We are also thankful for you, our constituents, whose support enables us to do this important work as cultural ambassadors!

Last year, the support of American Dance Abroad's donors helped us to accomplish the following:

In March, we launched SPOTLIGHT: USA – A Platform of American Dance, which brought 60 international dance programmers to Bulgaria to see nine U.S. companies.

In June, our American Dance Recon program hosted 10 international programmers on a tour of dance in Los Angeles, Portland and Seattle.

In August, our American Corner represented U.S. dance at the Tanzmesse in Germany, with a delegation of 13 dance professionals, four of whom performed before international audiences.

Our Rapid Response program provided travel subsidies to U.S. dance companies/ choreographers to perform and participate in creative residencies throughout the world.

Pitchbook Volumes III and IV promoted the development of new work by over 20 choreographers to international programmers around the world.

We have equally exciting plans in development for 2019, including a new residency exchange program and an American focus within an Eastern European festival. You can be a part of realizing these plans!
