This week we are learning about the Declaration of Independence, battles of the American Revolution, and the British and American armies. 50 States Quiz on Monday 11/26/2018. Students know what list they are on. Lists available on 5th.luaky.org

This week students will finish Section 5 and be tested on Friday November 30th.

- Students are working on Lesson 3 (A day in a student's life).They're working on reading the story and learning new grammars.
- Students received their Spelling H.W sheet. It will be Due every Monday Insha'Allah.
- Spelling test will be every Monday.
- Students need to summarize their Weekly Reading story book at their Arabic notebook.

Quran

Group 1

- Students are reviewing the rules of نْ and Tanween.
- Each student H.W. will be written at his/her planner.
- Practice recitation page 15 of surah Al-Baqarah

Group: 2

- Students are working on Al-Qaida An-Nuraniyah lesson 8-9
- Each student memorization will be written at his/her planner.
- Practice lesson 8-9.

This week, we will finish our nonfiction text structure notes and practice identifying different structures and using graphic organizers to better summarize and understand texts. We will continue reading Holes, and we will have a vocab quiz on Friday. Please see the Language Arts homework section of the 5th-grade website for detailed information about homework and upcoming due dates.

Standard: 05-ESS3-1

This week the students will be talking about climate change and green houses gasses. We will be doing activities to help deepen their understanding. We will finish up the week by looking at ways to help our planet and lessen our carbon foot step.

Don't forget to continue working on science fair.

Unit C Ch.2: All Arabia Attaked Madinah, Ch. 4: The Battle of Al-Khandaq: the students will learn the events that lead to the Battle of Al-Khandaq, the disbelievers' plans to attack and the muslims' plans to defend Madinah and the events that lead to the failure of the attack.

Students will be working on Word processing.
