Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! We hope you enjoy a blessed time with family and friends. In the meantime, here's an update on how God has been blessing the ministry at Sunrise!

American Heritage Girls
Earlier this month, an American Heritage Girls troop enjoyed a field trip here at Sunrise. We hunted for rocks, learned about the water cycle, made a giant model of the solar system, and so much more! By the end of the day, the girls earned their astronomy & geology badges and enjoyed a delicious meal. We even took a break to ride the zipline!

A Very Eventful Week
Last week was an adventure for everyone here at Sunrise! The week started out with a local school group coming for a field trip. After a day with the youth we began preparing for a senior center that came on Thursday! Both trips were educational, and full of laughter and encouragement. Then on Friday, last minute touches were made for a college retreat starting that very night!

A College Retreat
This past weekend, almost 40 students from a local college enjoyed a retreat here. They got to experience several camp traditions - from a train ride and campfire to spaghetti dinner. Everyone listened well as we presented the gospel. God even provided a couple one-on-one opportunities to share our testimonies with these students! We're praying that this group will keep thinking about the truths they learned... and if they're not yet saved, that they'd give their lives to Christ.

Progress, Progress, and More Progress!
For the past few months we've all been praying for the funds and time to finish a couple of projects: a roof over the Buckels' camper, and the new dining hall deck. Good news - the cover is now completed, and the camper has moved into its new home! And flooring is now being installed on the new deck. In fact, the college group this past weekend helped us start laying boards. We are so excited to see how the deck will be used for years to come to bring honor and glory to God!

Coming Up Next
This week, we'll be celebrating Thanksgiving with friends and family. We wish you a blessed Thanksgiving, too!

- that our annual Summer Staff Christmas Party would be a great time of fellowship and spiritual encouragement.
- for continued progress on the newest planetarium show. (It's just a couple weeks away from being done!)
- for many new campers to attend camp this summer. (Registration opens December 1!)

- Summer camp registration opens December 1! Know any kids who would benefit from a week in God's creation and God's Word? Why not tell them about camp?

- Would you prayerfully consider giving the gift of the gospel to campers in need this Christmas? Last summer, two youth who received camperships were saved as a result of camp, baptized, and are now a part of a local church. Several others grew in their relationship with the Lord. And people like you made it possible! Camperships ensure that any child has the opportunity to learn the gospel at camp.
