We can’t deny it any longer, winter is well on its way. For some of us, it’s party season. For others, it’s staying-in-under-a-blanket-season. But for all of us, it’s a time to get together and spend time with our friends, family, loved ones and community. There’s no better time to come and hang out with us and get ready for the festive season.
Here’s what’s coming up soon!
LGBTQ POC: Beyond the Alphabet Soup
A Community Building Event
November 29, 6pm-9pm
Chats Palace
42-44 Brooksby’s Walk, Lower Clapton, E9 6DF
Our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion volunteer team is so excited to have partnered with Terrence Higgins Trust and Hackney Council to bring together a community building evening for LGBTQ people of colour.
Hear from key figures in the community, make connections with fellow LGBTQ people of colour and report back directly to City and Hackney CCG about the design of health and social care services to make sure they better meet the needs of LGBTQ people of colour. Plus, dinner is on the house. So make sure you don’t miss out!
Organised by one of our closest partners and resident green-space advocates and in conjunction with World AIDS Day, we’re honoured to support Rainbow Grow with their FUN(d)raiser - an evening of fun & games, socialising, music and whatever else. Wear red, raise money for The Food Chain and Age UK and have a great time.
Included in the ticket price is a free vodka cocktail or soft drink courtesy of Our/London Vodka.
Is there a better way to spend a cold winter Sunday than pottering about a market? Nope. Didn’t think so!
We’re so excited to bring together some of London’s best independent LGBTQ+ crafters and sellers ahead of the festive season. With Small Business Saturday the day before, why not grab your festive gifts from amazing local LGBTQ+ creatives instead of big brands?
