Biome’s Machine Learning Tech Cut Surgical Readmissions in Half

Stuart Jacobson, founder and CEO of Biome Analytics, isn’t one to brag, so you might not know that he and his team of data scientists are quietly revolutionizing cardiac surgery and post-op care on the US West Coast. Biome has partnered with five of the University of California Health (UC Health) medical centers to analyze their cardiac surgery data and through the company’s patented machine learning technology, were able to drop patient readmission rates by 50%.
