2019 Acreage release nominations close today!

Today is the last day to submit nominations for the 2019 Offshore Petroleum Exploration Acreage Release. Nominations close at 11.59pm AEDT 15 November 2018.

Nominations submitted after this time will be considered as part of the 2020 Acreage Release process.

Public consultation on the potential areas for release is expected to occur in Quarter 1, 2019. Submissions will be welcomed via the department's consultation hub. Further information about the consultation process will be communicated through this newsletter and on Twitter at @resourcesgovau.

It is expected that the 2019 acreage release bidding period will open in July 2019 and close in
March 2020.
