I forgot to mention today that I'm leading a ladies hike (leisurely paced walk) at Blackwood Farm Park near Hillsborough on Saturday, December 1. There is no charge to attend.
Several asked about my class, so here's more about that.
I teach a Silver Sneakers Classic class at New Millennium Fitness in Mebane (3948 Forest Oaks Lane, located behind Sheetz) on Mondays and Wednesdays at 9:00 a.m. This class is approximately 50 minutes and uses a chair, weights, a resistance tube with handles, and a ball. All equipment is provided. Most of the routine is done standing, but can be done seated if preferred. We do not get down on the floor in this class. The class level is beginner/intermediate.
Silver Sneakers members can attend for free; otherwise you'll need a gym membership for this and the other classes there. If you have any questions, or want to sign up, contact the gym manager Kathy Marino at (919) 563-2887 and tell her I sent you. :)
