Being a person with a disability who is graduating from university soon, people often ask Melissa Lyon how she has gotten to where she is today. Lyon attributes her success to having a good focus and working hard.

But the more important factor of her success is owed to Lyon's parents and their gentle care that showed her potentials in life.
