FIVE new hats for this week! It's one of the positive side-effects of being at a not-so-busy craft fair on Saturday and Sunday. The red mushroom was laid out on Saturday, while the spring-green beret was born on Sunday.
The three on the right are still awaiting topstitching and their inside headsize ribbons. I may (or may not) trim the red and blue one with some of the beautiful marbled fabric that I made in the Spring.
Enough
If I could make this many hats every week, then there wouldn't be a concern about not having 'enough.' What is enough, after all?
It's a self-created issue. I don't think that I should become my own, personal 'sweatshop.' But, it's tempting artistically to want to Make Make Make....and also have the hats adopted out.
Since I cannot control the external world of Hat Adoption, as long as I make the connection with the fiber and creating, I'm contented.
Now, to get back to the studio!
