Join us for our November “Local Bites” event at Calcareous Vineyard!

Bring a friend, enjoy some wine, and learn more about the Paso Food Co-op’s mission to build a member-owned community food market featuring local products.

Entry is free to this event and will feature:
  • Food and wine pairing lunch with locally-sourced foods available for purchase.
  • Live music beginning at noon with John Zamora.
  • A presentation about the benefits of a food co-op in Paso Robles!

Vendors Featured at Sunday's Local Bites
ROASTED ROOT VEGETABLE SOUP — Roasted beets, carrots, onions, and garlic with a vegetable stock. Served with sour cream and parsley. Using local produce from Windrose Farm and Templeton Valley Farms.

SUNSHINE KALE & QUINOA SALAD — Italian kale, organic quinoa, sweet carrots, red & golden beets, red cabbage, cucumber, fresh parsley, candied pecans, with Spice of Life “Greek Influence” balsamic dressing. Ingredients sourced from Bautista Farms, with The Groves at 41 olive oil, and Chaparral Gardens vinegars.

CALABRESE PANINI Alle Pia Calabrese Salami and Salami Spread with Stepladder Creamery San Simeon colby and Arugula.

JR BEEF SLIDERS — Local Avenalas Ranch beef burger sliders with caramelized onions, JR Meats Hickory Bacon, and Central Coast Creamery Clothbound Cheddar.

LOCAL CHEESE PLATECentral Coast Creamery Big Rock Blue and Ewenigue, Stepladder Creamery Paso Vino cheese, Alle Pia salami, nuts, dried fruit, olives and crackers.

PRFC Local Bites Events

The Local Bites event series provides fun, community gatherings for existing members to reconnect and for potential new members to find out what the co-op is about. Hosted by a local business, the event celebrates local food and drink producers, healthy eating, and lifestyles of the Central Coast. Ultimately, the event supports the co-op’s mission to create and embrace abundance, balance, and diversity through investment in the local food system.
