Avalanche centers across the world play such an important role in our global backcountry community. They offer important educational programs in their communities, employ forecasters to gather information and write reports, and serve as advocates for safe backcountry travel. As backcountry travelers, we are extremely appreciative of the services that avalanche centers across the world provide to splitboarders, skiers, and snowmobilers.
