Hello Welcome Home Coalition Members and Supporters!
We did it! Last week was a historic win for our community members struggling with housing instability: we passed Measure 102 and Measure 12-199! 12,000 of our friends and neighbors will soon have a safe place to call home.
We know we could not have done this without you. Because of your hard work and the efforts of so many, we’ve taken another giant step forward in ensuring everyone in our community has a roof over their heads. THANK YOU.
We want to celebrate you – the time, the energy and the resources you poured into these efforts – and celebrate what these measures’ passage means for our vulnerable community members. Please join us on Wednesday, November 28th from 4:30 to 6:30 at JOIN at 1435 NE 81st Avenue. We will have food and drinks and hope you all can join us in celebrating!
We also know that the work doesn’t end here. We are looking forward to working closely with all of you and the multiple jurisdictions overseeing the bond’s implementation as well as next steps in addressing our region’s housing crisis.
