This Week...
This Sunday we will be in the new and improved theatre format at Sidney Stringer Academy.

As always, we start at 10:15am with tea & coffee. Why not join us for breakfast and a chat before we all worship together? This week we will also be sharing communion as whole church. Our hope and prayer is that all would experience God's presence...

From our Pastors...
During November our Sunday morning talks will focus on: Experiencing God.  As a community we will explore how to intentionally and consistently engage with God in such a way that we open ourselves to a deeper understanding of Him and deeper relationship with Him. Jesus declared that what was most important was to...

“‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’” Jesus (Luke 10:27)

Experiencing God's presence stands at the heart of our commitment to be disciples who make disciples of Jesus. This week, Vicki will be sharing on how to engage authentically in conversation with God.

We would also like to share our gratitude at the love and generosity we have been shown by you all over the past couple of weeks. You are truly an amazing and caring church. Next week (25th Nov) we will be paying a short tribute to Vicki's Mum, Dr Carol Starkie, a much loved member of this church, ahead of her funeral on Wednesday 28th.

In other news...

There will be a Christmas jumper competition at the nativity service. A prize will be awarded for the most impressive! There is also a kids colouring competition and prizes will be awarded at the nativity service. Kids just need to draw something on an A4 piece of paper that makes them think of Christmas. Their name and age need to be written on the back and they need to be returned to Zia by Sunday the 10th of December.
Last Christmas, Coventry Vineyard, (including the wonderful Dave & Angela McKay, who ran the London Marathon) raised enough funds to install 76 Bio-Sand Water Filters in Uganda through A Rocha Uganda.  The filters have been given to families and this has enabled people to get clean and safe water, reducing water related illnesses like diarrhoea,  saving money for families, and reducing the need for firewood. It is estimated that this has transformed the lives of around 1500 people. Thank You CV! Check out the following clip...

We are committed to encouraging people to be disciples who make disciples, equipping them to live lives as followers of Jesus and helping them express the love of God to those around them.

Our Journey Groups are one-to-one groups designed for those who have made the decision to go deeper in their spiritual growth, forming habits that help them to become more like Jesus and sharing Him with others. Click here for details and to sign up

Witness the birth of GrowBaby!
As a way of showing God’s extravagant love in a practical way, we plan to have a store of children’s clothes and baby equipment at Mill Street. This will be made available to anyone in need. Other churches have found this really engages people and has led to many other community initiatives.

How can you help?
- Pray - That we meet with those in our community that need our help.
- Donate - Do you have baby/children’s items (in good condition) you no longer need? Have you seen any useful items in your local charity shop? If so, please bring them to Mill street or give them to Zia at Stringer Stringer on a Sunday morning. Please also spread the word to others who have things to donate.
- Give - You can also give financially to this initiative. Please mark any monetary donations as being specifically for GrowBaby.
- Volunteer - Get involved with sorting clothes or giving them out and building community with families – either chat to Zia or email her for more information.
- Publicise - Please talk to your neighbours and friends about this, and spread the word to anyone you think would benefit from this. We will soon have leaflets and posters available to give/display.

Thanks in advance!
