Dear <<First Name>>,

Tuck in to three stories about delicious foods from across the world that play an important role in a communities identity.  In partnership with Land Rights Now.

These are Laiya cakes, traditional Cakes from Sinjai, Indonesia.

Celebrating in San Francisco

This month, we give thanks to our indigenous network around the world and all those who recently came together at the ' Our Village Community Corner' in San Francisco to explore community-based creative solutions to the climate crisis and the 5 demands of our partners. Over 300 people attended the event and enjoyed a night of networking, storytelling, art, and music.

“I saw so many people benefit from the space in substantial and beautiful ways. To see our allies from Indonesia and the Amazon sharing stories of struggles and solutions with allies from the Yurok and Canada and beyond was really pretty extraordinary." Laurel Sutherlin from Rainforest Action Network

Watch a new partner film from Indonesia

The Indigenous Quest tells the story of Mr. Japin, an indigenous farmer from West Borneo, Indonesia, fighting to get his customary forest back that has been seized to make way for palm oil plantations.
