This Sunday we will begin selling tickets for our Friends and Family Christmas Celebration coming up on Sunday, December 9. We are excited to be able to offer this special celebration, headlined by the return to Friends Church of one of our favorite bands, Cloverton!

The day will begin with Cloverton joining us on Sunday morning to lead us in worship at both the 9:30 am and 11:00 am services and will close with a Christmas concert by Cloverton at 6:30 pm. Of course, everyone is invited to our Sunday morning services on this special day.

The Friends and Family Christmas Celebration will begin at 3:00 pm with a special Keepsake Christmas program in the Activity Center where families will get to hear Mary, Joseph, and Gabriel retell the story of Jesus' birth. Families will have an opportunity to talk about memories of their own, as well as each child will create a “keepsake” nativity set.

In between the Keepsake Christmas and the evening concert, there will be a light dinner served from 5:00-6:00 pm of hot dogs, chips and Christmas cookies. Our preschool and Kids Church Live children will be singing in the Worship Center foyer between dinner and the concert.

And finally, Cloverton, a contemporary Christian music and worship band from Manhattan, Kansas, will be in the Worship Center with doors opening at 5:30 pm as they share with us their Hallelujah Christmas Tour. The concert will begin at 6:30 pm.

A ticket is required for the Keepsake Christmas, dinner, and Cloverton concert. You can decide which events to attend, but the ticket will get you into all three if desired. Everyone is encouraged to purchase tickets in advance, especially if attending the Keepsake Christmas since we need to purchase the nativity kits in advance. All of this is provided for the ticket price of $5 for an individual or $15 for a household (everyone living at one address)!

Please plan on joining us for this celebration on December 9 and invite your friends and family to join you. Once again, tickets will be on sale this Sunday and continue through the 9th. If participating in the Keepsake Christmas, tickets must be purchased by November 28th.
