Happy Holiday's Neighbors!
Just wanted to give you an update that Councilman At Large Attorney Bob Mendes has been doing an excellent job representing our interests in the Metro Council.

To give you a brief update, Bob spoke at a recent planning commission meeting on October 11, 2018 which prevented a rezoning that neighbors in the Ned Shelton Area opposed.  He successfully negotiated a win for our community.  Additionally, we appeared and spoke at a recent Traffic and Parking Commission meeting on October 8, 2018 to remove the stop sign on Castlegate.  The neighbors in the area expressed that they would like to explore other options for the area and we had to make a case that would be a win win for everyone.  As you may have noticed, it was removed thanks to alot of hard work with Bob working with me and others to get the item on the agenda and to work on the reevaluation with engineers.  Ongoing efforts to address concerns along that stretch continue.

Fall Cleanup
Councilman at Large Attorney Bob Mendes was a sponsor for the recent fall cleanup held at Compton's foodland.  When you see him, please thank him for his support of our community.

Please mark your calendars to attend our Annual Holiday Party.  This year we are trying our new Regional Community Center as the location instead of the Camp.

We had a successful planning meeting for our Holiday Party this past Sunday.  Our next Planning Meeting is scheduled for next Tuesday, November 27 at 6:00 Pm at the Smith Springs Regional Community Center, 2801 Smith Springs Road
We need your help.  Please join in and share with others interested in helping to come to this planning meeting to help make this community event another success!
