Three Cat Education is pleased to welcome all the new students and families who have registered for our 2011 Summer Camps at the Skokie Theatre. Whether you are participating in our summer camps or have been with our program from the beginning, we wanted to let you know about a very special event happening the next two Saturdays. Our first full length production at the Skokie Theatre, Cinderella: A New Musical.
Cinderella: A New Musical
Three Cat Education presents “Cinderella” an original musical with music written by composer Ric Brutnall and a book written by Jacque Lueken and Jason Paul Smith. The students of Three Cat Education will present “Cinderella” at the Skokie Theatre (7924 N. Lincoln Ave, Skokie) on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 10:30am and 2:00pm and on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 10:30am and 2:00pm.
Join Cindy and her friends as a sleepover gone wrong results in this unique retelling of the classic “Cinderella” story. Cast includes Claire Adler, Alexandra Bentkowska, Max Bryn, Lindsey Byster, Sara Collins, Leigh Lirtzman, Esther O’Leary, Rachel Silvers, Sam Silvers, and Gracee Wallach.
Three Cat Education offers children and teens an opportunity to experience the world of theater and cabaret in a safe nurturing environment. Exploring musicals, plays, cabaret and show choir, our educational offerings teach kids the fundamentals of performance.Tickets are $15 dollars for adults and FREE for children (12 and under). 2011 Summer Camps
Returning for our second summer in Skokie, Three Cat Education is proud to present our new line-up of summer camps for 2011 . Using the actor’s most important tools (Body, Voice and Imagination) campers will be challenged to discover, explore and develop every aspect of theatre – acting, singing and dance – under the instruction of our professional teaching artists. This will be unique opportunity that culminate in performances on the Skokie Theatre stage. Campers this summer will be able to strengthen their skills and build friendships that will last a lifetime!

Bab Fab: A Barbra Streisand Celebration
Three Cat Productions will present the 4th annual “Bab Fab: A Barbra Streisand Celebration” concert at Theater Wit, 1229 W Belmont, at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, June 13, 2011. The one-night-only event will celebrate the legendary musical career of Barbra Streisand. Hosted by Rob Dorn with direction by Jason Paul Smith and Jacque Lueken and musical direction by Andrew Blendermann, the concert will feature more than 15 Chicago area theater and cabaret stars.
The concert will feature performances by Three Cat Productions favorites, Jeff Award winners, and Chicago theater veterans. Scheduled to appear are Andrew Blendermann, Christine Bunuan, Amy Cole, Jeff Dean, Rob Dorn, Cory Goodrich, Scott Gryder, Adam Hibma, Rob Lindley, Michael Mahler, Christine Mild, Paul Motondo, Barbara Robertson, Jason Paul Smith, Gina Valentine and students from the Three Cat Education theater programs. As with all live entertainment events, performers are subject to change without notice.
