We're thankful to be part of a community supporting STEM students in Kentucky. Because of you (students, teachers, judges, board members, donors, and friends) 2018 has been a truly successful year for LRSEF!
Highlights include:
- 283 students in grades 6-12 registered 251 different projects for LRSEF 2018
- Three LRSEF students were named semi-finalists in the 2018 Broadcom MASTERS competition, with one advancing to finals and receiving the Rising Star Award
- Five LRSEF students attended ISEF in Pittsburgh, PA, with two taking home awards in Engineering Mechanics

2018 Diwali Festival & Fundraiser
Thank you to the Asian Pacific American Forum (APAF) at GE Appliances, a Haier Company for sponsoring the Diwali Festival on November 19, 2018. Over 200 STEM professionals at GE attended.
LRSEF has partnered with APAF since 2014 for STEM outreach, judge recruitment and fundraising. All proceeds are donated to LRSEF to support STEM outreach and to reward the talent and creativity of Kentucky youth.
