Beaujolais Nouveau

Firstly a big THANK YOU to Kirsty for a very well run and enjoyable (if slightly chilly!) Beaujolais Nouveau Evening at the High School. The food, the snail bar, the Beaujolais, the wine talk, the raffle and the quiz all came together smoothly during the evening.There were over 70 people present. About half were Twin Town Members, many were parents at the High school, and we had 8 guests who had come along because they had either been invited or seen Kirsty's publicity. The evening generated money for both the Twin Town and the PTA and may even have found us some new members.

Annual General Meeting

7 p.m. Friday 7th December 2018

Spread Eagle, Village Centre

Our 50th Annual General Meeting will take place on Friday December 7th , upstairs at the Spread Eagle in the Village centre. starting at 7 p.m. We very much hope that you will be able to attend. There will be light refreshments at the meeting.

All the Society officials' reports will be available on the night but you are welcome to read or print off your own copies of the following information by clicking on the links.

WEST SIDE STORY marries stunning choreography to a matchless songbook – Maria, America, Somewhere, Tonight – as it translates ROMEO AND JULIET to 1950s Manhattan. It’s the Jets and the Sharks, two rival gangs who make New York’s mean streets even meaner. But it’s also passionate, tender and deeply romantic – the greatest love story ever told.

Peter has secured 50 Stage Level seats for the Matinee performance at the Royal Exchange of “WEST SIDE STORY” on THURSDAY MAY 16th 2019.

As usual there’ll be coach transport from Lymm, and back, with departure from Lymm at 11.00 or 11.30 a.m.. The total cost will be £35.00 p.p.

Peter will be there at the Twin Town and Lymm Dingle Probus Clubs’ next meetings, but feel free to email him to reserve a provisional place. He will send out further details shortly for payment, with an option to pay by cheque or by BACS. The show is certain to be a sell-out, and the 50 seats will be allocated on a first paid, first booked basis.
