Children always give it to you straight don't they? There's no political correctness and, whilst this can be embarrassing in the supermarket queue or in front of Great Aunt Maud, it is also to be admired.

A class of 9 year olds were given a project to create a poem, for Remembrance Day, on what they had learnt about the Great War. All of the poems had to end with the line;
"Remember the old lie; Dulce et Decorum Est." 

To commemorate 100 years since the end of World War I, I would like to share with you the poem written by one of those 9 year olds, my son Isaac.
