I hope the fall has been treating everyone well. It’s starting to get cold here in Connecticut, and I am so glad to have finally received my More Than Walking long-sleeve shirt! For those of you who have also gotten your shirts or hoodies, I encourage you to post a picture on Instagram wearing them and doing something you love that is #MoreThanWalking. Above is my friend Rob doing motor-cross, for example, while below I am less dangerously video editing. There we also now have Interviews of peer mentors from all 8 functional types of SCI in Northeastern USA, and are in the process of producing demonstration videos to show how they go about their daily lives independently. We have also launched a peer recommended community resource map where you can see all types of resources in the area near you whether they be wheelchair vendors, medical suppliers, foundations, or adaptive sports teams. If you know of a resource that’s not on the map, you can add it and we will update it within a week.
