Galaxy Digital CEO Michael Novogratz delivered a fresh bullish price prediction for Bitcoin (BTC) on 5th November. Novogratz told the U.K. business publication Financial News that the leading cryptocurrency could hit highs of “$20,000 or more” in 2019.
Crypto Demand in South Korea Surges as Bithumb Records 15 Percent of Total Volume
Over the last 48 hours, the daily trading volume of crypto exchanges in South Korea has surged substantially by a range of 10 to 15 percent. Bithumb, the largest cryptocurrency trading platform in the local market by trading volume, has seen a spike in the daily trading volume of the Bitcoin-to-South Korean Won pair, which has become the second most liquid trading pair in the global market after the Bitcoin-to-US Dollar pair on Bitmex.
SEC Official Says 'Plain English' Guidance on ICOs Is Coming
Speaking at the D.C. Fintech Week conference, SEC director William Hinman said the regulatory agency intends to release "plain English" guidance for developers to refer to when planning token offerings. This guidance will help such developers determine on their own whether any potential token offering may be classified as a security or not, according to Hinman, though it's not clear when the guidance will be published.
