Global Voice December 2018

This edition of Global Voice will reach your inbox in time for December 10th, Human Rights Day, traditionally International Day for Soroptimists around the world. During recent weeks SI has shared news through its website and social media channels on the SI President's Appeal 'Women, Water & Leadership'. This Global Voice Special brings all the stories together - a one stop shop for videos and articles on projects in Kenya, Malaysia and Bulgaria. We would like to thank you for the support you have shown so far, and wish you every success with any activities and events you may be organising for December 10th. Please remember to share your events with us on social media by using the hashtag  #WWLSoroptimist. We close this Global Voice, the last of the year, with a message from SI President Mariet Verhoef-Cohen for Human Rights Day, and would like to wish you all a happy and peaceful New Year.

A Message for Human Rights Day 2018

2018 is the 70th anniversary of the Declaration of Human Rights. As we take time to pause a reflect on a year gone by, we consider what Human Rights means to us all. In the year ahead, we will draw energy and inspiration from our fellow Soroptimists and continue to educate, empower and enable women and girls, and act and advocate to achieve human rights for all.
