Jesus told us to “Go and make disciples and baptise them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.” If you’re a Christian and you’ve not been baptised then we’d love to talk to you about that.
For those who have been baptised as an infant, confirmation is a wonderful opportunity to confirm the vows made on your behalf as a baby. It’s a moment when you can stand up and say that you are a Christian and you follow the Lord Jesus Christ. If you’ve never been confirmed and are interested in finding out more please do talk to me about this.
We’re holding our first confirmation service on the 27th January, 2019. The Bishop of Maidstone, Rod Thomas, will be with us to preach and lead the confirmation.
There are others in our church family who have both been baptised and confirmed, but perhaps have spent some of their adult life away from the Christian faith. If that describes you then perhaps you might consider re-affirming your baptismal vows which Bishop Rod would love to do. It’s just like confirmation.
