NEW Micah Olson was sworn in on October 26 as an attorney in Minnesota and an officer of the court. As a person with a disability, spina bifida, this was a key event. Micah hopes to use this degree to work in general law, research, and as an advocate for persons with disabilities. All praise and thanksgiving to God for this milestone achievement.

We praise God for the baptisms of Kylie, Rylie, and Bob at the Reformation Day service at St. John's in Trosky, MN, and of Rachel at the All Saints service at Our Saviour's in Pipestone, MN. We pray their faith is strengthened continually as they worship and connect with their church families.

Minnesota Lutheran Education Conference Correction: We regret that Judy King (commissioned minister - teacher at Prince of Peace, St. Cloud) was inadvertently left off the jubilarian recognition list at the October 18 Minnesota Lutheran Education Conference and was not recognized for her 35 years of service. LCEF District Scholarships – Apply by Jan. 31, 2019
A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to at least one applicant from the Minnesota South District. Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or current full-time post-secondary student at an accredited institution with at least one year of courses remaining.
