We want to send a big thank you to everyone who applied for the Global Awards and helped make these anniversary celebrations a success. We feel honored, inspired and humbled by each and every application that shows the impact of the Programme at professional, personal and community levels.

Our jury members chose the awardees based on how well they embodied the values of Learning to Live Together and how they have influenced a positive transformation in others as well as in themselves, by carrying out context-sensitive programs that foster interfaith and/or intercultural learning and improve mutual understanding and respect in their communities. They took into account the applicants' resourcefulness, creativity, active engagement, drive, and passion, together with the reach and outcomes of their work.

Now it's time to announce the Learning to Live Together Global Awards winners:

 
Centro Bartolome de las Casas 

Most Transformative Implementation Award

Centro Bartolome de las Casas has implemented the Learning to Live Together Programme in a systematic way while ensuring quality and sustainability. Their programs based on the Learning to Live Together have demonstrated concrete contributions towards bridging divides and empowering children and youth in their communities.

The award will grant 5.000 USD to the organization with the objective to scale up and sustain their programs based on Learning to Live Together. The award will also provide technical assistance to strengthen the implementation of the Learning to Live Together Programme and to improve resource mobilization and partnership efforts to make the implementation more sustainable and replicable.

Most Committed Trainer Award

The awardees have shown to be committed trainers who have empowered Learning to Live Together facilitators, who role-model the values that Learning to Live Together stands for, and whose commitment and passion have made a difference in the community.

This award will include an award plate, sponsored personal development opportunities to a value of 300 USD, as well as the opportunity to present and share their work.

Most Committed Facilitator Award

These awardees have made an inspiring use of the Programme in their work with children and youth by making sure that each activity is designed to respond to the unique context children live in, to meet their needs and allow them to connect and learn from one another.

This award will include an award plate, sponsored personal development opportunities to a value of 300 USD, as well as the opportunity to present and share their work.

Shanti Ashram 

Most Inspiring Children-led Project

This award recognizes the great contribution to Learning to Live Together from the young beneficiaries of the program to promote mutual understanding, respect and peace in their communities.

The winners will be awarded 
with 1,000 USD and the creation of a digital comic/interactive book showcasing the story of their project. The winners will feature as the main characters in the storybook and they will have the possibility to work with Soufeina, a comic artist and illustrator from Tunisia who was raised in Germany and lives in Ireland.
