Help shape Derbyshire's economic future for the next 12 years

Businesses in Derbyshire are being given the opportunity to help shape the future of the area and its changing economic needs.

The D2N2 LEP has updated its draft Strategic Economic Plan, which covers the period up to 2030, and is now seeking comments from High Peak businesses.

This important document determines not only the overall strategy for business growth in the area but also how future business funding will be prioritised.

The updated Plan shifts the focus of the future approach and funding towards tackling two major challenges:
  • Increasing productivity
  • Creating a better skilled and more inclusive labour market
A series of consultation events are now taking place. As well as the chance to share your views, the events include a presentation on the draft Plan, an open discussion and more information on the work D2N2 is doing to promote economic growth.

If you're unable to attend the consultation event you can also comment online.
