AACRC Grounds Clean-Up Day II
The facilities committee is holding another fall clean-up day on Saturday morning, November 17, from 9:00-noon.  Please come when you can and join us in cleaning up the church property. It would be helpful if you have a rake to bring along to help with leaf clean up.
Our Roots students go shopping for CAP Thanksgiving baskets...
Our Roots were able to shop for 70 CAP thanksgiving meals due to your financial gifts.  Thank you for supporting this ministry and for letting our Roots students be a part of this service opportunity as well!

All CAP Thanksgiving baskets are due this Sunday, November 18 by noon. Please double bag purchased items (click here for the list) along with writing a $25 check to CAP for a turkey with "CAP Thanksgiving Basket" in the memo line. Tables are set up in the fellowship hall and in the downstairs gathering space.

Help us reach our goal of 150 Thanksgiving Baskets for CAP this year!

Don’t forget about the CAP closet across from the bathroom downstairs at church.  CAP would love to receive and distribute any winter clothing items that you are willing and able to donate!

Our church will be a remote location site for the upcoming January Series put on by Calvin College, January 3-23. The Gray Matters group will be hosting this series in Room 24 from 12:30-1:30 pm.  Information on the speakers can be found here.
Friends In Deed is holding a Holiday Bed & Crib Drive, wherein people throughout the Washtenaw County community donate funds to purchase new beds & cribs for families living in poverty.  Click here for more details.
While the drive runs throughout November and December, donations made on Giving Tuesday, November 27th will be matched 25% by Van Winkle Mattress Co. In past years, this has added 15-20 additional beds to the total purchased for distribution throughout the year. Donations can be made at https://www.friendsindeedmi.org/bed-crib/.
The Interfaith Round Table of Washtenaw County is holding their 24th Annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Celebration on Sunday, November 18 @ 7:00pm.  For more details, check out their flyer here.
