Evacuation Update....

Topanga Canyon has been
evacuated for 5 days.
All safe.  Waiting.

The electricity in the shop was out Friday morning around 6 AM as the Woolsey Fire dominated and decimated the Santa Monica Mountains.

The photo above was behind the shop.

All safe.  We evacuated.

We were given word that Topanga Canyon is under a mandatory evacuation and we immediately left.   No electricity, cell service and smoke in the sky.  We didn't need much else to send us the signal to get out.

.

Santa Ana winds are sometimes designated with a red flag warning and when a fire is present the evacuation of the Santa Monica Mountains is decided by the Los Angeles and Ventura County Fire departments.       We take it really seriously and don't wait for a thing.

We are on our 5 day of evacuation and are hoping for calming winds as scheduled. The repopulation of some of the other communities in the mountains has begun.

Here is a link to our various social media for current updates.   We wanted to give everyone a heads up on why were aren't answering the phones, responding quickly to emails and are not around.

Change of hours this week.....

Check the above social media sites for updated schedule.  We may be open more this week to make up for losing a weekend once the evacuation is lifted.
Frankly, we need to sell some stuff soon.
