Air Quality Data Collection

The University of Utah is performing a study on the performance of a network of low-cost, air-quality sensors, and we are looking for volunteers to host sensors.

There is no cost to participate, but volunteer hosts need to:
  • live between 1700 and 2100 South and 300 to 700 East.
  • have an outdoor power outlet where you have good wifi and slightly sheltered location (like under an overhang).
The sensor is small (about the size of a smoke detector, see image), and its data and power use are negligible. If needed, the project can provide some assistance with installation.

If you have questions, please contact kerry.kelly@utah.edu
