GIVING, PRAYING & SERVING - Commitment Weekend!

This weekend will be our opportunity to stop, pause, and evaluate our Stewardship GPS: Giving, Praying and Serving for the coming year. The Stewardship Annual Reports are arriving in mailboxes of registered parishioners, and we ask you to bring the enclosed commitment card to Mass with you this weekend.

Even though 2019 is weeks away, the liturgical calendar is coming to an end. We celebrate the beginning of a new liturgical year with the First Sunday of Advent on December 2. What better time than NOW to stop and make a Stewardship Resolution for our Giving, Praying and Serving for the coming year.

As we did last year, we will have a card for our youth, so they too can take a moment to ponder in what ways they hope to give, pray and serve this coming year.

Thank you!

If you are looking for inspiration, we want to share with you this video. Please watch and see how Stewardship GPS has been lived out in the lives of Molly, Mike and Brian. These are just three of the MANY stories we receive where, through personal stewardship or through the stewardship of our parish, lives are changed.
LIVING THE BEATITUDES THROUGH ADVENT - Advent is a time of preparation and a time of reflection. Make the most of your Advent experience and help prepare yourself for Christmas by “Living the Beatitudes through Advent" with Fr. Bill Faiella, CSC. Join him on Thursday, November 29 from 1:00 - 2:30 pm in the Church Classrooms for this session. There will be a presentation, a time for reflection & meditation, and opportunities for discussion as we all seek to Know, Love, and Serve God more as Christian Disciples in Mission who are Living Beyond Sunday through the Beatitudes. THANKSGIVING DAY MASSThanksgiving is next Thursday, November 22. Each and every one of us bring our own traditions to the celebration of this day. Whatever your tradition may be, we pray it is blessed and we all have a chance to pause and recognize the many gifts God has provided in our lives. As is the St. Patrick Catholic Community tradition, everyone is invited to attend Mass in the Church at 9:00 am followed by coffee and muffins! Begin your day of thanks by joining us for the great Thanksgiving of the Mass, as well as time together as a parish community.
IN THE PRESENCE OF: In Presenza Di - Praise, worship, teaching, and Eucharistic Adoration. Our Advent sessions will be Wednesdays, November 28, December 5 and 12 from 6:30 - 7:45 pm in the Daily Mass Chapel. “In the Presence of,” or In Presenza Di in Italian, is an opportunity for the entire community to gather before the Blessed Sacrament for a time of prayer, praise, teaching and adoration. Based on an old Franciscan devotion, this contemplative night contains praise & worship, silence, scripture, a reflection, and adoration all done in the
presence of our Lord in the Eucharist.

Each evening will have a different person giving the reflection...
    November 28: Brian Cannon
    December 5: Fr. Eric Tellez
    December 12: Scott Bagshaw

Adam, Edel & Rocky will be leading the music. Adam is our Communications Coordinator, his wife Edel sings at the parish, and together with their brother-in-law, Rocky, they have led
In Presenza Di at various locations for over 7 years.

For more information, contact Adam at astein@stpatcc.org and you can Click here to download the flyer.
ST. PAT CHAPTER CHAT - We have begun a brand new book club to help us grow in our understanding and encourage discussion around our annual theme! Brian Cannon, Director of Evangelization and Family Life, will lead the “St. Pat Chapter Chat” on Stu G’s book Words From the Hill on the first Thursday of the month from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. Our next session is December 6 in the Pope rooms in the Parish Office. You can join the chat at any time. Each session will focus on specific chapters of the book. Books will be available for purchase in the Narthex the week before each chat, or at any time by contacting Brian Cannon in the Parish Office or bcannon@stpatcc.org. We have a limited supply of special priced books for $10 each (Cheaper than Amazon). Click here to download the flyer.
