Happy 5th Birthday! A video from the Kaldor Centre

The Kaldor Centre is celebrating its 5th birthday! Thank you for supporting our work towards finding legal, sustainable and humane solutions for the world’s refugees and other forced migrants.

It gives me great pleasure to share with you this short video about what we do, produced to mark this milestone for the Kaldor Centre.

The video is one of several initiatives you’ll see in the coming weeks reflecting on our impact so far, and our plans for the future. These highlight how, in just five years, the Kaldor Centre’s high-quality research has directly influenced new policy frameworks and concrete responses for the protection of displaced people. We provide a trusted source of expertise to inform and energise discussions about forced migration.

In addition to this video, we’ll be sharing some testimonials from colleagues and supporters on our social media in the coming weeks, so be sure to look out for us on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.

We thank Andrew and Renata Kaldor for helping to establish the Kaldor Centre in 2013 and for their on-going support. In recognition of their service to refugee law and policy, they were awarded Honorary Doctorates at UNSW this month.

We also warmly thank you for being part of our community and helping to promote informed responses to the challenges of human displacement.

We are proud of what we have achieved in our first five years and look forward to the next!

Best wishes,

Jane
