Mobotix has just announce the release of MxManagementCenter 2.0 (MxMC 2.0). This latest update is a quantum leap forward in terms of functionality, device management capabilities and embraces the openness of ONVIF Profile S.

MxMC 2.0 has been released in conjunction with Mobotix NAS which is very timely because this is the first version of MxMC that allows centralised viewing, searching and playback of both H.264 and MxPEG video recordings from a central NAS.

Key Features in MxMC 2.0:
• Integration of MOBOTIX NAS and ONVIF-S cameras
• Advanced Config option: deep management function upgrade
• Advanced Services option: with System Health Check upgrade
• Integrated search function with online help
• Apple and Windows compatible

MxMC 2.0 Licenses and Upgrades
Software license packs now apply to this latest version of MxManagementCenter:

Integration Starter License (ISL)
This pack is required to view/playback H.264 video streams on an MxMC 2.0 workstation. The ISL license (order code: Mx-SW-MC-STARTER) carries a small fee and supports up to 9 x H.264 channels. Additional licenses can be purchased if more H.264 cameras need to be added.

Advanced Configuration License (ACL)
This optional upgrade is a time saving feature that allows users to access around 75% of the camera's web settings and apply changes across 80 devices at the same time from within the MxMC 2.0 interface, rather than having to use the camera's web interface.

Initially the Advanced Config option will be available only for Mobotix (Mx6) cameras with firmware MX-V5.2.0.x (or higher) installed. According to Mobotix in Q1 his option will also be made available for earlier MX camera models within Q1 of 2019.
